New SIM for Things Portal Go-Live – URL Change on
Following our earlier announcement in Release 26.1.0 – February 25, 2026, the new SIM for Things Portal will officially go live on 22 April 2026.
As previously communicated, the new portal introduces a modern interface, improved navigation, and faster performance, while keeping the same core features and functionality.
What is changing on 22 April 2026
From 22 April 2026:

the new UI, currently accessible at sftnew.bics.com, will become available at sft.bics.com

the legacy UI will remain available at sft-legacy.bics.com

http://help.sft.bics.com will be the Help Center for the new UI
-
http://docs.sft.bics.com , which is the documentation portal for the old UI, will remain available for as long as the legacy portal is live
Login details
Your username and password remain the same, so there is nothing you need to do in order to log in.
All your data, configurations, and settings remain shared between both portals. Any changes made in one portal are immediately reflected in the other.
Legacy portal availability
The legacy portal will remain available during a transition period until 30 June 2026.
During this period, users may continue to access the old interface if needed. However, all new features and future developments will be released only on the new portal.
After 30 June 2026, the legacy portal will be decommissioned.
