Create Endpoint

Endpoint Name

Enter the name for the Endpoint

APN Group

Select the APN group for the endpoint in the drop-down list. APN group available for the Enterprise are displayed

Billing Type

Select the connection type for the endpoint in the drop-down list. For example Postpaid or Prepaid

Plan

Click the “+” icon to attach a plan for the endpoint.

Roaming Profile

Select the Roaming profile for the endpoint in the drop-down list.

Only roaming profiles available under the enterprise are displayed.

IMEI Lock

Push button to enable IMEI Lock, by default it will be disabled.

Link SIM

• Enable Link SIM to link the endpoint to a specific SIM

• Disable Link SIM to link the Endpoint to a SIM at a later time

IMEI

By default, the IMEI field is not displayed.

This field is enabled if IMEI lock toggle button is enabled. And additional input field for the IMEI will be shown.

• Enter the IMEI number (Serial number) of the device.

• IMEI field will be an optional parameter even if IMEI lock is enabled.

  • If IMEI lock is enabled and the IMEI field is filled in then the platform will only allow charging requests from this IMEI for this SIM.

  • If IMEI lock is enabled and the IMEI field is not filled in then the platform will lock the IMEI coming form the next charging request and any further request will be allowed only from this IMEI.

Link SIM button

Push the button to enable or disable the Link SIM option.

• If enabled, the SIM field will be shown where you can link a SIM card to your endpoint.

• If disabled, the endpoint is created, but no SIM iwill be linked to the endpoint. You can link the SIM later: Link or De-link SIM to endpoint

SIM

By default, the SIM field is not displayed.

Enable the Link SIM option to show the SIM filed.

Click the “+” icon to attach a SIM for the endpoint.
After clicking the button, the following screen is displayed.

Note: Only, Ready to Activate SIMs is displayed. Select the required SIM.

Activate Immediately button

By default, the "Activate Immediately" field is not displayed. This field is enabled if SIM is linked to the Endpoint.
Push the button to enable or disable the Activate Immediately option.

• If enabled, SIM is activated after the endpoint is created.

• If disabled, the endpoint is created, and the SIM is not activated. SIM can be activated later.

MSISDN

The MSISDN field is only show when the Activate Immediately option is enabled. it displays the MSISDN that will be assigned to the endpoint when the endpoint is created.

Dynamic Benefit only

This field is displayed only if “Dynamic Benefit only” is enabled for the Enterprise account. When it is disabled then and no changes are allowed.

Note: A monthly recurring fee and SIM management fee is collected from the enterprise when dynamic benefit is enabled.
Note: SIM fee is applied only after the SIM is activated. Pool of data to be increased to enterprise after each SIM activation.

Dynamic Benefit Name

This field is always displayed, whether or not Dynamic Benefit only is enabled for Enterprise.
Select the dynamic benefit in the drop-down list and multi selection.
This is mandatory only if “Dynamic Benefit only” is enabled for the Enterprise account.

System allows 20 pooled MDB per endpoints, then system have the limitation of max 25 Benefits

Addon Plan

By default, the Addon field is not displayed. This field is displayed only if Activate Immediately in enabled.

• Click on Addon Plan field

• After clicking the Addon plan field below screen will be displayed.

• Addon will be displayed in the drop down list with multi select option, by clicking on the Ctrl button, user can select multiple addons at the same time

• Addon plan will be listed based on the billing type and roaming profile selected

• User can only select maximum 10 Addons

• User cannot select same Addon twice

• Addon will get deselected by clicking on the selected Addon again

Note: Addon plan is a non-mandatory field.

If Addons are not selected, then endpoint will get created without any Addon benefit
If Addons are selected then endpoint will get created with Addon benefit
Addon will provide different service offering to the endpoint like additional data volume and SMS volume and will fallback to base plan after consuming the package defined in addon.

Tags

This field is displayed only if Tags is created at the Enterprise level. Select the Tags in the drop-down list.
This is not mandatory field.

Note: maximum 10 tags can be added to an endpoint.

Value added feature

If an enterprise have feature based SIM management fee charge configured in it’s base plan, then Value added feature field will be visible in the create endpoint screen.

Adding a value added feature can be done with or without linking a SIM to the endpoint and/or activating the endpoint.
